Chemical Peels

A gentle way to exfoliate and remove dead skin, revealing the natural glow just below the surface.

Sun damage or dark spots on the face are a fact of life for many people. And it’s not just the remains of sun bathing for years that can cause this discoloration. Even driving your car allows harmful UV rays to hit your skin, resulting in darker pigmented spots or patches on your face.

Chemical peels may be the solution you seek for sun damage. This treatment approach is gentle yet effective in brightening your skin and reducing discoloration.

Are peels right for me?

If your skin appears drab, discolored, and dull, a chemical peel is perfect for you! Peels can also dramatically improve other concerns such as acne outbreaks and uneven skin tone.

Ideal patients are often over 25 years old, and committed to a skin care maintenance routine. If you don’t currently have a skin care routine, we can design one that works for you.

For those ready to try medical aesthetic treatments but not ready for shots or needles, our gentle peels can provide the rejuvenation you desire with no pain and no downtime.

Peels are often provided in a series for optimal results. Book a consultation with us today to learn how you can achieve the best outcome.

*Note that if you are currently using Accutane, you may not be a good candidate for chemical peels.

A peel for any face

We use professional peel products from PCA SKIN® and ZO® Skin Health, and expand our offerings regularly.

One popular peel is the Sensi Peel®, specially formulated with plant-derived ingredients and alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) to gently exfoliate dead skin cells and help healthy new cells rise to the surface. These self-neutralizing peels are even gentle enough to use the day of your big event.

For deeper healing, ZO 3-STEP PEEL® is an innovative, in-office treatment peel followed by an at-home treatment to combat the signs of aging + skin discoloration. Utilizes a blend of exfoliants, retinol and multi-action agents to help improve skin health and treat many signs of aging.

When you come in for a peel, we will assess your skin and determine the best treatment approach to address your concerns.

Not ready to commit? You can also come in for a no-obligation consultation.

FAQs about chemical peels

  • Chemical peels are relaxing and luxurious with Di Valore.

While you relax in comfort, we’ll gently cleanse your skin before applying the chemicals.

To alleviate any potential discomfort, you may opt for us to fan your face while the peel activates - talk about pampering!

After just a few minutes, the peel is ready to be wiped away with warm, moist pads.

To wrap up your treatment, we’ll pat the skin dry and apply moisturizer with sunscreen, then you’re ready to face the world.

  • If you have very delicate or sensitive skin, you may experience a slight tingling sensation during the peel.

Most clients report zero discomfort during and after the procedure.

  • For many clients, there is no recovery time associated with our peels. However, those with sensitive skin may experience slight reddening of the skin for 24 hours after a peel.

Some clients report light skin peeling about a week after getting a chemical peel. Please do not use an exfoliant scrub on the treated area for two days post treatment.

Do not apply ice to the treated areas.

Do not put the face directly into a hot shower spray. Do not use Jacuzzis, steam rooms or saunas.

Do not go swimming or participate in activities that would cause excessive perspiration.

  • The glow you get from a peel will last 3-4 weeks, so we recommend regularly scheduled peels to maintain your look and achieve maximum brightening.
