Meet Melanie Cobb, MPAS, PA-C

Melanie is an East Texas girl at heart with a deep love for the Fort Worth community.

Born and raised in Henderson, Texas, Melanie completed her undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin. After leaving Austin, she went to The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston to complete her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS).

The first ten years of Melanie’s medical career were spent in the world of orthopedic surgery, first working with adults, then expanding to teenagers and young adults. Her love of orthopedics and surgery was incredibly important during the first decade of her career. However she needed to find a way to improve her work/life balance. Working in surgery full time makes that difficult when you have three precious babies at home who need you too!

Fast forward to 2021

Melanie followed her heart, and made the difficult decision to go part time in orthopedics with Dr. Curtis Bush and open Di Valore Medical Wellness.

At Di Valore, our goal is to bring a new perspective to both self-care and skin care. The basis of our clinic is centered on the 1228 Protocol®, created by Dr. Joni Collins, DMS, PA-C. This protocol is a unique approach to skin maintenance, with an emphasis on patient education. We are excited to bring this new aesthetic service, as well as many other offerings, to the community of Fort Worth!

On a personal note…

Di Valore is committed to assisting the adoption and foster care community in DFW. After the adoption of their youngest child, sweet Talulah June, Melanie learned first-hand that being an adoptive mother was a stressful, overwhelming experience.

Through Di Valore, Melanie wants to help birth mothers, foster parents, and adoptive parents get the self-care that they deserve.

If you’re an adoptive parent in the Fort Worth area, or just want to say hi, we would love to hear from you!
